Contact centre in Ghana

Call centre software in Ghana, with the phone side handled

VoiceConnect runs your support or sales line: a drag-and-drop IVR, call queues, agent dashboards, call recording. In Ghana we can supply the numbers and the connection as well, so there is nothing to arrange with a carrier before you go live.

Local and toll-free numbers. Your agents work from the browser or the handsets they already have.

Everything on the line is arranged for you

The part most businesses expect to be difficult is the part we handle.

Numbers supplied by Arkesel

You don't have to go and source a number, sign a separate agreement, or wait on someone else's paperwork. The numbers come with the service.

  • Local numbers
  • Toll-free available

The connection is handled for you

There is no trunk to buy, no interconnect to negotiate and nothing to configure on a carrier's side. Your calls arrive on the platform ready to route.

  • Nothing to procure
  • No hardware

Toll-free, if you want it

A number your customers can call for free. Plenty of businesses never need one and run perfectly well on a standard line. If you do want one, it takes regulator approval and carries its own costs, and the section further down sets both out.

  • Optional
  • NCA approval
  • Setup fee + yearly renewal

One platform, whatever the channel

Calls here, and your SMS, email and USSD on the same Arkesel account. WhatsApp and live chat sit in KOVA IQ if you use it.

  • SMS
  • Email
  • USSD
  • WhatsApp via KOVA IQ

What you get once the line is live

The call menu, the routing, the agent screen, the dialler and the reporting all sit in the same place. No separate dialler vendor, no separate analytics tool to buy.

Visual IVR builder

Drag the steps into place and the call flow is built. Changing a menu later doesn't need a developer.

  • Text-to-speech
  • Keypad menus
  • Business hours
  • Webhooks

Intelligent call routing

Round robin, longest idle, skills-based or sticky agent. Skills carry a proficiency level, so a caller who needs Twi and billing gets someone with both.

  • Skills-based
  • Sticky agent
  • Warm transfer
  • Callbacks
  • SLA tracking

Softphone or your own handset

A softphone runs inside the agent dashboard with nothing to install. Agents who prefer a desk phone get SIP credentials and register their own.

  • Browser softphone
  • Desk phones
  • Softphone apps

Outbound campaigns

Progressive, predictive and preview dialling are included, so a dialler is not another line on the invoice. Do-Not-Call lists are enforced on every campaign.

  • Predictive dialling
  • CSV / Excel import
  • DNC enforcement

Voice surveys

Reach the customers who would never fill in a form. Trigger surveys by SMS after a call, and let AI summarise the answers in aggregate.

  • SMS triggers
  • AI aggregate analysis
  • No agent time

AI call analysis

Every call is transcribed, scored for quality, checked for sentiment and summarised. Supervisors see which calls need attention instead of sampling at random.

  • Transcription
  • Sentiment
  • Quality score
  • Dispositions

Supervisor tools

Listen in silently, whisper to an agent mid-call, or join the call outright. A live wallboard shows the queues and who is free.

  • Silent listen
  • Whisper
  • Barge-in
  • Live wallboard

Every call on the customer record

Connect KOVA IQ and the caller is identified before your agent speaks, with their open tickets already on the agent's screen. The call is written back to their timeline afterwards.

  • Caller screen-pop
  • AI copilot
  • Customer 360 timeline
  • Ticket per call

Multi-tenant and white-label

Run several businesses on one platform, each with its own agents, numbers, queues and billing. This is what BPOs and resellers use.

  • Per-client isolation
  • Separate billing
  • White-label

What setting up actually looks like

1

Your numbers are connected

We supply them and put them on the platform. This is the step you would normally spend weeks on.

2

Build your call flow

Drag the steps into place: prompts, menus, business hours, recording, and webhooks into your systems.

3

Add your agents

Invite them by email. They get their sign-in and SIP credentials, and can take calls from the browser or their own handset.

4

Watch and improve

A live wallboard while the calls are happening, then transcription, sentiment and quality scores afterwards.

Adding a toll-free number

Most lines do not need one, and a standard number goes live faster. If a toll-free number is right for you, here is the whole process and what it costs you.

1

Tell us what you need

Which line it is for, roughly what volume you expect, and where the calls should land once they arrive. This is the same conversation as setting up any other line.

2

We prepare the application

Toll-free ranges require approval from the National Communications Authority. We put the application together and tell you exactly what we need from you.

3

Approval, then the costs

The approval is the regulator's to give. Once it comes through there is a one-off charge to get the number issued, and the NCA charges a renewal every year to keep it. Both sit on top of your monthly plan, and sales will give you the figures before you commit.

4

The number goes live on your call flow

It attaches to the IVR and routing you have already built. Nothing needs rebuilding because a different number is now pointing at it.

You can start on a standard number and add a toll-free one later. Nothing else about your setup has to change.

Bring your own trunk

Run VoiceConnect on a SIP trunk you already hold

You keep your carrier contract and your existing numbers, so there is nothing to arrange with Arkesel on the carrier side.

  • Point your existing trunk at the platform
  • Number ranges are restricted per trunk, in the admin console
  • Teams or clients in more than one country stay properly separated
How that works

Questions we get asked in Ghana

Do I need to arrange anything with a network operator?+
No. In Ghana the numbers and the connection come from us. There is no trunk to buy and no separate agreement to sign before your line can go live.
What does a toll-free number cost on top of the plan?+
Two things. There is a one-off charge when the number is first issued, and the National Communications Authority charges a renewal every year to keep it. Both are separate from your monthly plan, and sales will give you the figures before you decide. A standard number has neither, which is why most lines start there.
What currency am I billed in?+
Self-serve subscriptions are charged in Ghana cedis. If you need to be invoiced differently, that is a conversation with sales rather than something you set up yourself.
Can we run Ghana and another country on the same account?+
Yes. Ghana runs on the numbers we supply, and the other country runs on a SIP trunk you already hold, connected to the same platform. Each trunk is restricted to its own country's number ranges, so the two stay properly separated.
Is this the same VoiceConnect as on the main product page?+
Yes — one platform. This page covers how it is connected and numbered for a business in Ghana. The AI voice agents and the full KOVA IQ integration are on the main VoiceConnect page.
How is this different from installing our own phone system?+
A PBX is hardware you buy, install and maintain. VoiceConnect is a service you subscribe to, so adding agents, opening a second branch or letting someone work from home is a settings change rather than a procurement project. Our guide to cloud contact centres in Ghana goes through the comparison properly.
